CURRENT
Currently, my work consists of writing and curriculum development. I am actively seeking a long-term home to house the work I do—let’s connect. What do you do?
I offer special resources and guidance for professionals, educators, and students working at the intersection of creative practice and politics.
How do you do this?
I operate an ecosystem that involves:
Each of these components informs and feeds the other. They form a triad designed to advance politically-engaged creative work.
- Writing: Research-focused articles in academic journals and public platforms on an ongoing basis
- Curriculum: A residential course I developed from 2018 to 2024. Students have included politically-engaged professional designers, performers, artists, Master’s and PhD students
- Book: Materializing the Interior, Forthcoming via Set Margins' press

What do you focus on?
All aspects of my work concentrate on studying the behind-the-scenes aspects of practices that are critical and creative.
In other words, I work side by side with practitioners. My work foregrounds their first-hand experience, embodied knowing, and the private, interior aspects of doing political work. My work sticks up for the epistemic depths of the actual hands-on making that practitioners do—especially in environments where the theorist, curator, critic, and historian are sought out for sense-making.

What do you produce?
I produce unique evidence showing connections between creative practice and social impact.
Organizations and research groups can interact with this evidence through traditional formats, like the journal articles I publish. They can also experience the evidence by joining my participatory lectures and engaging with the documentation of my teaching.

WHY DOES THIS MATTER?
What I produce can inform guiding questions for organizations and the strategy of educational programs.
For practitioners, my work enables them to name what is intangible, deepen their political commitments, mature their own creative practice, and communicate their impact.

WHERE DO YOU WORK?
I work internationally and anti-disciplinarily.
Since 2022, I have lived in Aarhus, Denmark. I have been invited and hired to do my work in four continents and across many fields. See the indexed list of where I’ve worked.
